Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and timely information necessary for the effective delivery of services. Furthermore, clients are expected to comply with all relevant laws and regulations governing their business activities in both Canada and the United States.
Privacy and Confidentiality:
We are committed to upholding the privacy and confidentiality of client information. We adhere to the applicable privacy laws in both Canada and the United States, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and restricting disclosure to third parties unless required by law or with explicit client consent.
Fees and Billing:
Client engagements will be subject to agreed-upon fees outlined in the separate engagement agreement. Clients commit to making timely payments as per the agreed-upon terms. Any additional costs incurred during the provision of services will be communicated for client approval.
Changes to Services:
We reserve the right to adjust the scope or nature of our services, giving clients reasonable notice. Changes will be discussed, and client consent will be sought whenever possible to ensure transparency and collaboration.
Termination of Services:
Either party may terminate the engagement with written notice in case of a material breach. We may terminate services if a client fails to meet payment obligations or if the engagement becomes impractical. Upon termination, any outstanding fees must be settled promptly.
Compliance with Laws:
Clients acknowledge the importance of conducting their business activities in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in both Canada and the United States. While MayFlower provides guidance, clients bear the ultimate responsibility for adhering to legal requirements.
Dispute Resolution:
In the event of a dispute, both parties commit to resolving the matter amicably through good-faith negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached, mediation or arbitration, as per the laws of Canada and the United States, will be pursued to settle the dispute.
Amendments to Terms and Conditions:
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions as needed. Clients will be notified of any changes, and continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated terms.
